The Marzocchi Super T

The Super T is a dual-crown fork of the Bomber range. Marzocchi’s 2001 data sheet for the Super T QR20 describes it as a “double clamp fork specifically designed for Downhill use”, with hydraulic rebound cartridges, external spring preload and rebound adjusters on top of the legs, and full-length slider bushings. The first exploded drawing in our archive is from 1997; the parts lists cover 2001 to 2004; exploded drawings exist again for 2006 and 2007.

Up to 2002 the Super T used 30 mm stanchions, from 2003 32 mm stanchions (both according to the seal numbers in the parts lists). Seals, bushings and stanchions of the two versions do not interchange.

QR20 is the 20 mm axle system (2001 data sheet: “QR20 wheel shaft retaining system for special hubs (110-mm stop) and wheel shafts with 20-mm diameter”), not a separate model. We have no parts list for 1999, 2000, 2005 and 2006, so those years are left out or marked with a dash.

Exploded drawing and parts list

The parts list on this page belongs to the 2003 Super T (2003 parts list). The other years have their own drawings and parts lists in the factory documents below and on Forks documentation. The 30 mm and 32 mm versions differ in many parts, so always use the drawing of your own year.

Service notes

• The 2001 Super T QR20 data sheet gives 170 cc of oil per leg, type EBH 16, SAE 7.5.
• A separate 2002 Super T QR20 service manual is on Forks documentation.

Which seal kit fits

• 2002 (30 mm): oil seal 528172, dust seal 533301, kit 850690. This is our Seal Kit 30 mm m-arch.
• 2003–2004 (32 mm): oil seal 528230, dust seal 533297, kit 850768. This is our Seal Kit 32 mm classic.
• 2006–2007: the Seal Kit 32 mm classic, according to the seal chart.
• 1997–1998: the seal chart lists the Seal Kit 30 mm classic; there is no parts list for these years to confirm it.

For 2001 the parts list names oil seal 528172 and dust seal 533301 but no kit number, so we cannot say for certain which 30 mm kit fits. Send us a photo of your dust seal and we will check.
